Education

USAREUR Library System
BookCrossing.com: Stuttgart
Find a book in the Stuttgart area. Leave a book for someone else to find. Its all free and better than the library (you can keep them). My shelf is here. This site also has people and books across the globe.
Stuttgart Book Club
Language studies

Groups / Clubs

Metropolitan Club Stuttgart
This looks like the old Kontakt Clubs. I never managed to drop in but it looks like a good group of people. Good for meeting people and getting to know the area.

Nuts - People to stay away from

ATTAC– Regionalgruppe Stuttgart
The local hippies... if theres a protest downtown these are usually the ones behind it. They're peaceful but stay away from it.

Shopping

Coins - For more coin related info, see www.numispedia.org.

Münzenetage
This is the best store in town. Sells mostly German imperial and earlier and also Roman/Greek ancients. Sitting on the Rathaus steps you should see the signs for it on the building directly north of Breuninger. Door is recessed, store on 3rd floor.
Stefan Sonntag
Decent selection, mostly high-end and pricey though.
